After continuing to acquire too many blisters from my other firefighting boots, I was ready to spend the money on a good pair of White's boots. Everyone I worked with and talked to about Whites boots absolutely loved them. I bought a pair of Lace to Toe Smokejumpers and was extremely happy to have them while the Peavince Fire in Reno, NV raged in the gusty winds. In this picture our job was to protect the million dollar homes that were in the path of the fire. I (Ashleigh Andrews) am to the right at the nozzle of the hose and firefighter Peeb to my left. We both work on Enigine 7132 out of Reno.
